Bernard has always enjoyed working with people which was, and still is, reflected, not only in his years of senior management in sales, marketing and business, but also in his role as a salesperson with Ray White. Satisfaction and enjoyment of the sales process is important for Bernard to achieve for his vendors, buyers and himself.

Bernard is happy at being very busy introducing enthusiastic potential buyers to properties in the Eastern Beaches as well as other suburbs throughout the Southern and Western suburbs of Auckland. In 2017 and YTD in 2018 Bernard has sold properties in Half Moon Bay, Cockle Bay, Bucklands Beach and Botany Downs. Most of Bernard’s listings in 2017 and 2018 have sold under the hammer at auction, or soon after by negotiation, above or around vendor expectation. Both vendors and buyers were all very happy with how Bernard conducted the pre-auction marketing, vendor reporting, buyer interaction and feedback as well as the overall communication process during negotiation. Of his last nine sales Bernard has scored 10/10 by 7 his clients, vendors and buyers, and two 9/10, for the Ray White ‘Customer Satisfaction Survey’ that are sent to clients after a successful transaction.  

In 2017 Bernard’s results and effort were rewarded by Ray White when he was made ‘Executive Status’ for reaching a set commission scale for Australasia. He is online to achieve this result again for 2018. This could and will only have been achieved because of the support and confidence his vendors and buyers were given. 

Although 2018 is proving to be a challenging market with government restrictions on lending and borrowing and the banks reluctance to “over commit”, the market remains steady with good prices still being achieved for vendors. In the Eastern Beaches the school zones are still playing a big part in final price acceptance.
